Building upon its predecessors, the Dock 3 introduces enhanced mobility, durability, and efficiency, catering to industries requiring rapid and reliable aerial data collection.

Key Features of DJI Dock 3:

  • Vehicle-Mounted Deployment: A standout feature of the Dock 3 is its ability to be mounted on vehicles, enabling drones to launch and land while on the move. This mobility is particularly advantageous for emergency response teams and large-scale operations requiring swift deployment across multiple locations.
  • Robust Weather Resistance: Engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the Dock 3 boasts an IP56 rating, ensuring protection against dust and water. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 50°C, making it suitable for diverse climates and challenging terrains. ​
  • Rapid Charging Capabilities: Minimizing downtime, the Dock 3 can recharge drones from 15% to 95% battery in approximately 27 minutes. This quick turnaround enhances operational efficiency, allowing for near-continuous flight missions.
  • Seamless Integration with Matrice 4 Series: The Dock 3 is designed to work seamlessly with DJI’s Matrice 4D and 4TD drones. These drones feature anti-icing propeller blades, 47-minute flight times, and a combination of wide-angle, medium telephoto, and telephoto cameras. The Matrice 4TD also includes infrared capabilities for enhanced nighttime operations.
  • Intelligent Flight Management: Integrated with DJI FlightHub 2, the Dock 3 facilitates automated flight planning, real-time alerts, and streamlined operations. Upcoming updates in the second half of 2025 will support on-premises deployment and introduce an EU-based AWS server for European clients, enhancing data security and compliance.
