DJI Rolls Out Firmware Update for Matrice 30 (M30) Drone Remote Controller, Focused on Enhancing System Stability.
Despite maintaining the aircraft firmware v08.00.00.03 for the compact and portable commercial drone, DJI has elevated the RC Plus remote controller firmware from v02.02.04.05 to v02.02.05.07. Additionally, the DJI Pilot 2 app has been refreshed to v8.0.0.38.
In March 2022, DJI unveiled the M30, a testament to the capabilities of a compact, folding drone that easily fits into a backpack while delivering performance comparable to larger platforms like the M300 RTK. Equipped with a 48 MP 1/2-inch CMOS sensor camera featuring 200× digital zoom, a 12 MP wide-angle camera, 8K photo capabilities, 4K/30fps video resolution, and a laser rangefinder providing precise coordinates for objects up to 1,200 meters away, the M30 sets a new standard.
The M30 comes with a 7-inch widescreen DJI RC Plus remote controller featuring dual control mode, enhancing efficiency across various weather and environmental conditions. With more physical buttons than ever, pilots can quickly access crucial flight features, build muscle memory, and enjoy a seamless flight experience.
Moreover, the remote controller boasts batteries with nearly six hours of flight time. In the event of low battery, instead of landing and interrupting missions, operators can seamlessly hot-swap a fresh battery, ensuring continuous workflow.
