It can hold and charge batteries. Paired with the DJI 65W Portable Charger, it can fully charge 2 Intelligent Flight Batteries simultaneously in just 70 minutes.
With at least one battery inside, it can be used as a power bank and use the remaining battery power to charge devices such as headsets or smartphones.

The number of batteries that can be charged simultaneously varies depending on the power of the charger used. Using a charger with a power of 65W or higher can charge two batteries simultaneously, while using a charger with a power of less than 65W can only charge one battery at a time. Please refer to the charging protocols supported by the charger.
