DJI Goggles
The DJI Goggles are comfortable glasses designed for FPV flight without problems with DJI products. They combine a pair of large, high-quality, long-range screens, low-latency wireless connectivity and direct control of photo and video capture. With intelligent flight modes like ActiveTrack, TapFly, Terrain Follow, Cinematic Mode and Tripod Mode, a completely new flight dimension is created.
Low latency transmission
DJI Goggles are able to offer both 720p/60fps and, at a closer distance, 1080p/30fps with an extremely low latency of only 110ms. Through DJI’s OcuSync wireless transmission system, up to four devices can be connected to the Mavic Pro simultaneously. The antennas integrated into the band ensure 360° coverage, providing a reliable connection even when the drone is flying behind your back. Share the fun of immersive flying with friends by giving them a bird’s eye view of the world while piloting their experience.
High resolution
Typical “2K” screens inside the glasses are divided into two sections 1280×1440, one for each eye. When viewing a 16:9 image, some sections are cut further, leaving only a quarter of the available pixels. The DJI Goggles have two 1920×1080 screens that provide more than twice the pixel amount of a typical 2K screen
Without grainy
Each screen groups its pixels tightly so you can see a clean and cohesive image without grains.
Optical design
DJI Goggles use a light beam splitter to display an image in front of each eye, as well as polarization to prevent the two images from overlapping. This allows them to create a genuine Full HD 1920×1080 resolution for each eye. When used with the large-aperture aspherical lens, an 85° field of view is created per eye for maximum immersion.
Head tracking
Head movements control both the drone and camera rotations in Flight Tracking Head mode as with the radio control control levers. All you have to do is turn left or right to move left or right and straighten your head to stop turning. In Head Tracking Gimbal mode, only the gimbal will be rotated without affecting the movement of the drone.
Touchpad and Remote Control
Access to the key intelligent functions via a touchpad integrated in the DJI Goggles or the 5D button on the Mavic Pro radio control, makes it easy and intuitive to navigate the internal system menu.
Smart Flight
The DJI Goggles mate perfectly with DJI’s new intelligent flight mode: Fixed Wing Mode. In this mode, the drone does not turn left or right but instead flies forward with enough rotary motion for a realistic flight simulation. In combination with Head Tracking mode, you can use the head to control the Mavic Pro for a fully realistic flight experience.
A prediction feature of the AR trajectory in fixed-wing mode makes use of this mode in safer complex environments. Other intelligent flight modes include Terrain Follow, ActiveTrack, TapFly, Cinematic Mode and Tripod Mode.
Comfortable and flexible
A design with a unique solid band balances and diffuses the weight of the DJI Goggles around the head evenly, minimizing pressure on the face and keeping them comfortable to wear for hours. People who wear glasses are also able to wear them comfortably. The DJI Goggles part of the screen can be moved around to catch a glimpse of the real world, or removed entirely to easily store and transport them.
Connect your devices
A range of integrated interfaces allows DJI Goggles to work with a wide range of devices.
Micro USB input
Connect the Phantom 4 and Inspire 2 compatible series via the USB port to access the tracking functions and the head tracking function. It is also used for firmware updates.
Micro SD card
Download the files from the drone to the SD card inserted in the DJI Goggles for a backup or view the captured video files.
HDMI input
view the images from the Phantom 4 or Inspire series camera drones, or insert a video device to watch movies or games.
Audio
Connect the headphones to the headphone jack or use the built-in speakers to listen to the sound of the videos being played back via the HDMI cable.
Compatibility
The DJI Goggles support the Mavic Pro, the Phantom 4 and the Inspire series. Some features will be adapted for different DJI products.
